The 146th Convocation, conducted on Wednesday, September 7, welcomed the Stevens freshman class of 2020 and recognized the achievements of faculty and upperclassmen.

It is so important to be authentic and to be proud of who you are. I don’t like to generalize often, but I feel like most Stevens students, faculty, and administrators all have a certain down-to-earth goofiness and aren’t afraid to show it.
There is a whirlwind of changes at the Student Health Center at the start of this semester. Leading this change is the addition of two new clinicians to the center’s staff.
Look at yourself,
What do you see?
What’s the point of having a face,
If you nobody ever sees it?
We wake up in the morning,

Brush our teeth,
And we never forget our masks before we step out that door.
Did you know there is a Transhumanist Party, which has a candidate in the U.S. Presidential race? Transhumanism espouses the transformation of humanity through genetic engineering, brain implants and other technologies.
Every now and then on the subway, you’ll see an ad put out by the NYS Department of Economic Development with pictures from New York State outside of the metropolitan area (you know, about 51 of NY’s 62 counties) that say “Visit New York.”
Sometimes I forget where I am… just kidding. I wake up every morning knowing where I am. Life is really different.
I’m sure this summer has been eventful for everyone from the avid beach-dwellers to those who have been introduced to the beach by Pokemon Go.
With the arrival of the fall semester comes change in a variety of forms. It does not take much observation to see the recent improvements to campus, the newest additions to the student population, and even the slow, but sure transition into autumn.
