Hardship- a state or instance of serious continued difficulty or misfortune. Someone had it right to make our university’s motto “per aspera ad astra” or in English “through hardship to the stars”.
The Stute
Congratulations, class of 2017. This issue of the Stute is dedicated to you, but as selfish as I am, I’ll take this opportunity to write a letter to myself in four years, for when I graduate in 2020.
For the second year in a row, Stevens honors three seniors with the distinction of co-valedictorian, each graduating with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
