Wittpenn Walk: Class of 2026 Edition

As the Class of 2026 prepares for their Wittpenn Walk, they mark one of the final milestones in a journey that began during a transformative moment for Stevens. The Wittpenn Walk is a tradition to show the start and end of a student’s time at Stevens. Walking up from Babbio to start off Convocation as freshmen, then down towards Babbio as seniors for their Senior Sunset Toast.

Entering in the fall of 2022, this cohort was selected from a record-breaking pool of 12,500 applicants. They arrived on campus as one of the largest incoming classes in recent years, being the final push to drive total enrollment past the 9,000 student mark.

Beyond the statistics, the Class of 2026 witnessed a unique time in the history of Stevens. They were the first class to see the University Center Complex (UCC) Towers being fully lived in and integrated into the campus. While these students spent their first year in traditional housing, they had front-row seats to the UCC becoming the heart of student life.

Now, as they look to the future ahead, their professional prospects look as strong as the day they arrived. If current trends hold true, they are joining a legacy where 97% of graduates secure career outcomes within six months of graduation.

While our seniors are now leaving the pond to pursue their own paths, no one will forget their formative duckling years here at Stevens.
