After serving as a senator since his freshman year, Matthew Hunt was sworn in as the new SGA President. Family and friends of the Stevens community joined him in celebration on Wednesday, January 28 at Walker Patio and for refreshments in the Babbio Atrium.

This past Sunday, the Hoboken Historical Museum opened its doors to the community to present its latest exhibit, “The Extraordinary Stevens Family, a New Jersey Legacy.”
A bunch of things happened while I was in Michigan. This is to be expected. I deliberately turned my back on things at Stevens Institute of Technology/New Jersey/The World, so I could relax and take a break.
This is it folks; one more semester left for the old timers here at the Old Stone Mill. By the time you read this, there will be a little over 100 days left in our time here at Stevens as an undergrad or graduate student.
Upon the news of an impending snow blizzard, the Stevens community was quick to plan ways to make use of time in the snow and out of classes.
A very snowy welcome back to everyone, both to campus for the “spring” semester and to Cuisine Corner. Hopefully you’ve come looking for a decent restaurant in Hoboken in which to kick off the semester, so I reached back to another restaurant I somehow had not visited since Freshman year: Margherita’s.
Over the holiday season, I finally received a (long overdue, in my opinion) invitation to beta test Heroes of the Storm (HotS) – an upcoming Massive Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game by Blizzard Entertainment.

On Martin Luther King Day, I searched online for commentary by King on science and discovered his 1964 Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech, in which he dwelled on the gap between our scientific and moral progress.
