I started this column for two reasons: 1) to give students from outside the tri-state area a better feel for the area and 2) to recommend places to go in the city.

Dim Sum Spring 2016

This past Wednesday night, the Chinese Student Association hosted its’s annual “Dim Sum Delight” event in the Babbio Atrium. Dim Sum is a traditional Chinese dish of small, steamed or fried dumplings that usually contain various types of fillings that can be served as a snack or main course.

College of Arts and Letters welcomes new psychology professor

Ashley Lytle has just been announced as the newest addition to the College of Arts and Letters. Following the retirement of Professor Susan Schept, who has been a psychology professor at the university for over 30 years, Lytle will assume her professorship come this fall semester.

Castle Point Anime Convention Preview

It is unlikely that there are many people at Stevens who do not know what CPAC is. For those that are unfamiliar with the Castle Point Anime Convention, campus is overtaken for a day by anime fanatics cosplaying, or everyday garb, as a part of a fun experience for local anime fans. 

NY votes finally matter

Despite New York State being the fourth-most populous state, and third-most populous for the previous few elections, presidential candidates rarely pay attention to the state since it’s been a Democratic stronghold since Reagan’s last election.

The 2010s: a hackful decade

Whether it be Anonymous, including those who claim to be Anonymous, or LizardSquad, it is hard to deny that this decade has, so far, has been jam-packed with interesting cyber attacks and cyber wars.
