This semester, the largest push from the SGA is voter registration: getting 1870 voters registered in Hoboken.

I applaud the SGA for this initiative.

KSA Field Day

On Wednesday, September 20, the Korean Student Association (KSA) held its annual field day event on Palmer Lawn. KSA hosts this event every year, with cultural food and fun games in order to get the whole campus more involved, and to spread Korean culture.

Warning: Deadline Approaching

I entered senior year with an open mind, a few less credits, and a positive outlook for the future. It’s week four, and all has remained constant for the most part—the positivity remains intact, but I’m beginning to feel the mid-semester strain work against me, slowly and stealthily.

More Fun in the Philippines

On Sept. 20, the Filipino Association of Stevens Tech (FAST) hosted “More Fun in the Philippines.” The event took a creative twist converting Jacobus Hall into the Philippines and taking attendees on a guided tour to educate the tourists on the prominent natural landscapes, cities, food and the local Filipino population.

Is It Still Too Soon to Blame Global Warming for Big Hurricanes?

Remember Irene? It was a hurricane that wreaked havoc along the eastern seaboard of the U.S. in 2011. Some environmental activists, notably Bill McKibben, blamed Irene on human-induced global warming, whereas others denounced that attribution as scientifically premature.
