On Tuesday, the Office of Residence Life opened the Housing Application process for the 2018-2019 academic year. Students who intend to live on campus or in Stevens Leased Housing must submit their applications by Friday, Feb.

On Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 4 p.m., Dr. Tom M. Mitchell gave a lecture titled “Using Machine Learning to Study How Brains Represent Language Meaning” as part of The President’s Distinguished Lecture Series.
This past week, the Stevens School of Business received approval from the Graduate Curriculum Committee of the Stevens Faculty Senate for a new MBA program called the “One-Year MBA.”
The catering guidelines regarding food for on-campus events will now be more strictly enforced by the Office of Student Life. The guidelines were discussed by Brielle Melillo, Financial Coordinator in the Office of Student Life, at Leadership Reconnect last Saturday.
On Wednesday, Jan. 31, the Office of Residence Life hosted the first-ever Meditation and Aromatherapy program. The program was led by Resident Director of the Office of Residence Life Kerry Mallett and Assistant Director of the Office of Academics Danielle Pagliuca.
On Jan. 10, the Office of the Provost announced a change to the academic break periods. Previously, no classes were scheduled on Mondays 4-6 p.m.
Dr. Jean Zu, Dean of the Schaefer School of Engineering & Science, announced this Monday that the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry and Biological Sciences (BCB) will split into two new departments: the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) and the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology (CCB).
The Stevens Enterprise Information Systems department announced that a new Stevens User Login page will be launching “in the coming weeks.”
This past Monday marked the start of International Education Week (IEW), a nationally celebrated time period that was created with the intention of preparing Americans for a global environment whilst also attracting people from all over the world to further their education and exchange experiences.
