The Torch Alliance held its fifth annual masquerade fundraiser in Babbio Atrium on Wednesday, Nov. 8. The event collected funds through student and faculty donations for the Trevor Project, a 24-hour suicide hotline for LGBTQ+ youth.
The Lore-El Center hosted the event LeadHERship Lunch: She Negotiates last Wednesday. The workshop was conducted by She Negotiates, an organization which aims to help women develop skills in negotiation, communication, and confidence to counter the gender wage gaps and have effective conversations in the workplace.
Students lined up on the second floor of the Howe Building on Wednesday, March 26 not only to swipe into Pierce but also to receive free journals from and learn more about Stevens new Diversity Initiative, Be More.
With the influx of female students at Stevens comes a corresponding rise in women’s programs and short events available freely for them to attend.
