This year will mark Professor Brian Borowski’s fifth year of teaching at Stevens. Borowski has enjoyed every moment of his time at Stevens, and he was once a student himself back in 2004.
Malcolm McDaniel is the new Assistant Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Stevens. The old director was Thea Zunick. In this new position, Malcolm will coordinate Stevens’ 18-chapter fraternity and sorority community alongside its four governing councils.
Associate Director of Student Life Dr. Thea Zunick will be leaving Stevens today to begin a new journey as Director of Student Life at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
Sitting on the tenth floor of the Howe Center, in an office with breathtaking views of Hoboken and New York City, students can find Chris Shemanski, the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Student Life.
Professor Joseph Miles has lead the undergraduate engineering programs for nearly a decade. In the past, one could find him down at the Jersey shore, spending his Sundays in front of his home, tending to his rose garden and fishing under the sun.

Professor Borowski has been working at Stevens since the Fall of 2014, and he currently teaches CS 115 Intro to Computer Science, CS 385 Algorithms, and CS 370 Creative Problem Solving and Team Programming.
Dr. Nicholas Touikan is a Calculus professor at Stevens. He has taught Calculus at Stevens for three years, and is constantly revising his curriculum to promote deep learning, which he describes as, “understanding … material well enough so that you know what you’re doing, and how to apply it later.”
When the elevators open on the 10th floor of the Howe center, you may be surprised to see a desk full of rubber duckies and a poster flaunting its support for the LGBT community.
Whether you love the humanities or came to Stevens to escape them, all freshmen are required to take CAL 103 and 105.
