On Tuesday, Oct. 31 the Student Government Association, in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs, hosted “Quack or Treat.” The event was created in an attempt to create a long-lasting Halloween tradition on campus.

Hoboken’s first Out of the Darkness Walk through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) took place on campus last Sunday.
Take Back the Night ran the annual Purple Thursday event in front of Pierce Dining Hall to raise awareness for dating violence and domestic abuse.

On Wednesday, October 25, the Ethnic Student Council (ESC) hosted their annual Casino Night. For the evening, Babbio Atrium was turned into a casino, where students were able to play casino games for a chance to win prizes.
On Friday, Oct. 20, the Indian Undergraduate Association (IUA) celebrated ‘Diwal-o-ween’ in Walker Gym. Diwal-o-ween was a mashup between Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, and Halloween.
Founded in March 2016 with an interest group of seven girls, Stevens Women in Business (SWIB) is one of the newest clubs on campus.
Estimated to be founded in 2002, the purpose of the Stevens Anime Club is to “provide entertainment to the student body as well as the general public in the form of Japanese animation and live movies, as well as trips to Japanese cultural events in the area.”
In 1976, Habitat for Humanity International was founded to be a non-governmental and nonprofit organization, located in over 70 countries. Its mission is to create a world where everyone has a place to live.
