The Lore-El Center hosted the event LeadHERship Lunch: She Negotiates last Wednesday. The workshop was conducted by She Negotiates, an organization which aims to help women develop skills in negotiation, communication, and confidence to counter the gender wage gaps and have effective conversations in the workplace.

On Friday, Sept. 22, Hoboken held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of Southwest Park. Located between Jackson Street, Harrison Street, Observer Highway, and Paterson Avenue, the 1.24-acre facility will serve the community as New Jersey’s first resiliency park with integrated green infrastructure to mitigate flooding.
Little Chinatown, presented by the Chinese Student Association (CSA), took place in Babbio Atrium on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017. The event was intended to replicate the Taiwanese night market scene, so there were games, street food, and many people.
Founded in March 2016 with an interest group of seven girls, Stevens Women in Business (SWIB) is one of the newest clubs on campus.
