After 13 years, Stevens Institute of Technology finally captured the Eastern Women’s Fencing Conference (EWFC) Dual Meet Championship. On the 15th anniversary of the EWFC, the Ducks snapped Johns Hopkins University’s five-year streak of EWFC Championships this past Sunday at home, earning their first championship since 2002 and third in conference history.
Off Center recently celebrated its ten year anniversary of doing shows at Stevens. Their latest show took place Friday the 13th and Valentine’s Day, which brought out interesting crowds.
The bowling alley in Howe hosted Red Pin Bowling this past Wednesday at 9 p.m.. This event was presented by the Stevens Bowling Club, specifically its members Bailey Bancroft and Sean Dirscherl, and it also could be used as an APO fellowship event by brothers and new members of that fraternity.
Hoboken is known far and wide for its variety of restaurants, a condition which leads to an interesting competitive characteristic. For every restaurant in Hoboken, there is typically another restaurant offering a similar, if not same, product in a different environment.
If you were to ask anyone that knows me personally if I was a competitive person, the answer would be a resounding yes.
