Like many of my peers, I assumed that my second semester in my senior year here would be much like the one I had in high school: no stress, no worries, just chilling and living my best life.
The Stute
After a public forum, a group of students who felt passionate about campus resources for marginalized groups decided Stevens needed an intercultural center.
Science fiction has often warned us about cyborg warriors, mainstream journalism not so much. But several recent articles have focused on this potential peril, including one in The Atlantic titled “The Pentagon Wants to Weaponize the Brain.”
One freshman, four sophomores, seven juniors, and three seniors. This is the number of Student Government Association (SGA) Senators that have resigned, and with the six previously-vacant senior seats, this adds up to 21 open senator spots.
Annual full-time tuition rates for undergraduates will jump $1,764 next year, a 3.5% increase from the current full-time tuition rate. Part-time tuition rates and overload credits will both rise $59 per credit next year, also a 3.5% increase.
With the Oscars just under two weeks away and the Golden Globes having passed just about a month ago, I felt the need to revisit the winners and nominees of the latter in preparation and anticipation of the former.

It is a sad week on campus as the Gatehouse, the last vestige of the great Castle Stevens that once ruled the local countryside with an iron fist, has been taken down for repairs.

On a freezing day in early February, I met with Wyn Barnum, Ricky Dana, and James Fusco, the musical creators of Phoneboy, the band behind “Acid Girl,” a song that could warm up any northeast blizzard and was responsible for the most memorable social media moment in local music last year.
From posting angry and hateful comments online over something we know nothing about to ending a relationship over an argument that began because of something small, it is a lot easier to fill our hearts with hate than with understanding.
