The days pass by as we rush towards finals week, almost crossing the finish line for this first semester. It’s funny how it seems like just yesterday we all were trying to settle into college.
After hearing about how “corporations and people are basically the same,” and “corporations make a lot of money,” one entrepreneurship-minded business student saw an opportunity to get firsthand startup experience and has now become a corporation.
This past Saturday, I hit the submit button on all my applications for Ph.D. programs in mathematics. I ended up applying to five schools, which was narrowed down from the 10 or so schools I had on the shortlist for much of the fall semester.
That’s right folks, I am one of the many people that know Die Hard is a Christmas movie, and no, it’s not just because it takes place during the holidays.
There’s one thing I have learned about gift giving over the years as someone who doesn’t like my friends spending money on me: I love when they remember things.
As we count down the days until winter break, there is a large barrier that hinders our ability to fully enjoy the holiday season: final exams.
Sadly, as it does every year here in Hoboken, winter is coming. The cool breeze coming off the Hudson river, the sun setting before 5 p.m.
On the evening of Saturday, November 12, various members of the Stevens community gathered at the Plaza Hotel in New York City for the 2022 Stevens Awards Gala.
The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 initiated a necessary policy requiring masks on Stevens’ campus. These masks helped Stevens maintain some degree of normalcy as students started returning back to their classes and reuniting with their friends and teachers.
