Q: What is the meaning of life?

Claire:

Wow, what a complicated question! While I’m certainly no expert on philosophy, I’m happy to give my input. I think that at this point in the semester, people start asking themselves this question more often because they start to wonder if all this work is actually worth it or if we’re just wasting our time.

How do I deal with being sick?

Claire 

Being sick sucks, and getting sick in college only makes it worse. This past week, I got sick and was once again reminded of how horrible it is to go through classes while feeling under the weather.

Q: How do I fix my sleep schedule?

Claire: 

College is a rough time for sleep, especially at an academically rigorous school like Stevens. Still, a good sleep schedule is key to staying focused and doing well in all of your classes.

Q: What should I dress up as for Halloween?

Claire: 

Celebrating Halloween at college is an intense affair lasting anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. As you might have already noticed, some houses have had their decorations up all month.

Q: What can I do when I’m feeling homesick?

Claire: 

Homesickness is a common experience for college students to experience throughout their transition of moving away from home for the first time.

Q: What do I do when I fail an exam?

Claire

Almost everyone has or will fail an exam at some point in their college experience. Whether you’re taking a class outside your comfort zone or you had an off day in a subject you’re usually good at, it’s ok.

Q: What should I do during my weekends

Claire:

I know that it can be exhausting to be a college student with seemingly endless amounts of homework and almost no time to do what you want.

Q: What do I do if I’m third wheeling?

Claire: 

Now that cuffing season has started, it’s likely that you might start noticing more and more of your friends coupling up.

Q: Should I join a fraternity or sorority at Stevens?

Claire:

Recently, Stevens held an event called Meet the Greeks where students interested in joining Greek life got to meet and learn about the different fraternities and sororities on campus.
