Stevens’ Sustainability, Activism, Volunteering, & Engineering (SAVE) was founded in 2013 with the purpose of combining “the knowledge, skills, and experience of the Stevens community to promote engineering solutions for social, environmental, and economic problems, on campus and in the local community” through continuing projects and initiatives.

On Sunday, April 3, the Stevens Hindu YUVA Chapter celebrated its first celebration of Hindu New Year. The festivities began with Jallosh, a New Jersey-based music troupe that keeps the playing of traditional Indian drums alive.

On April 9, No. 4 Stevens Men’s volleyball won the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) over No. 13 Messiah University. They swept the match 3-0, with each individual set attaining a score of 25-23, 25-15, 25-20.

On Saturday, April 9, 2022, the Stevens Orchestra performed their spring concert, “Mostly Baroque,” in DeBaun Auditorium. With their winter concert having no audience and being recorded instead, this is the Stevens Orchestra’s first in-person, live concert since pre-COVID-19.
After over two years of the pandemic, the Entertainment Committee (EC) has been planning an in-person Techfest, an annual concert event at Stevens.
On Wednesday, April 13, the SGA hosted a vigil outside Palmer Lawn acknowledging the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Speakers Leo Maksymenko, Alexander Stanczak, and Nicole Malantchouk gave speeches describing their personal attachment to Ukraine, the ongoing conflict, and ways that the Stevens community can contribute to helping Ukrainians.
On April 1, Stevens announced that “effective Monday, April 4, 2022, masking indoors will be optional in campus facilities at times when physical distance can be maintained.”
