Bright lights, delicious food, and party music was the perfect recipe for last Friday’s Founder’s Day Ball. This year’s ball was the fifth year that Stevens held the event in honor of the school’s Founder’s Day.

It is really hard to pin down the exact likes and dislikes of the Stevens community. If Friday night was any indication, then it is certain that two of the things the campus can agree they like is sororities and pancakes.
The city of Hoboken has had its good share of press in recent times. Between all the coverage of Sandy and the current investigation set off by Mayor Dawn Zimmer’s allegations of corruption in the Christie administration, Hoboken has done a good job of keeping itself in the public eye.
In this bitter cold, the Stevens community is certainly glad for any little bit of help in weathering the weather. Sometimes, it might be difficult to appease the majority for various reasons.
In true Stevens fashion, members of Kappa Sigma have shown the drive and success that only Stevens students could display and proven the leadership of the Stevens Greek community as well with ten members being awarded Scholarship-Leadership awards by their national headquarters.
