Lately, I have been thinking a lot about February’s place as a month. December is about finals and presents. January is about New Years and winter break.

Malcolm McDaniel is the new Assistant Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Stevens. The old director was Thea Zunick. In this new position, Malcolm will coordinate Stevens’ 18-chapter fraternity and sorority community alongside its four governing councils.
So, I want to take a moment to discuss the phenomenon that is sports. This is unlike me because, for those of you who don’t know me, I don’t follow sports at all.
Last semester, I was enrolled in Introduction to Sociology with Professor Yu Tao, and I found this course particularly fulfilling. As its name implies, sociology is the scientific study of group behavior, combining both my appreciation for scientific inquiry and my fascination of how we as a species act collectively.
Last summer, when I wasn’t at work or at the gym, I spent nearly every moment on Grindr. For those who don’t know what Grindr is, it’s an app for gay men to find other gay men with whom they can have sex.
Last fall I attended a conference at NYU called “Animal Consciousness.” It should have been called “Animal Consciousness?” to reflect the uncertainty pervading the meeting.
On Tuesday, the Office of Residence Life opened the Housing Application process for the 2018-2019 academic year. Students who intend to live on campus or in Stevens Leased Housing must submit their applications by Friday, Feb.
When I came to Stevens, my first goal was to secure an on-campus job. No longer was I bringing in the big bucks as I once did as a waitress at the Pompton Queen Diner, and I feared that I would quickly go through my precious summer funds that I had so carefully hoarded before starting college (a fear that did, in fact, become a reality).To
