It was 3:00 in the afternoon when I woke up to a faint noise of the announcement on board from the cabin crew and the captain herself, “As we have started to approach the city of New York, all the passengers are requested to open their window shades as the temperature outside is 3 degrees with clear skies.”

Well, technically, they’re preserves, made from tiny little strawberries only grown in Britain. But no matter what they are, I walked into the supermarket, went down the condiment aisle, and actively made the decision to spend an entire internship working hour on some old fruit.
In case you haven’t noticed, I am an avid fan of anime. Since middle school, I have watched a number of anime shows and movies which I have loved and enjoyed.
There’s something dark chocolate and endings have in common; the good ones are distinctly bittersweet. Not overly saturated, just bittersweet and realistic in an “all good things must come to an end” kind of fashion.
In the fashion world, it seems to be true that history repeats itself. Trends come and go but more often than not, many fashion pieces and trends end up repeating themselves.
In a shocking display of environmentalism, Stevens has recently announced that it will soon be entirely powered by renewable energy sources starting October 1st.
This semester really flew by. Somehow we went from week 2 to week 12 and are 7 days away from May 1.
Being at home for the past year and counting the days has sucked. Like, really sucked. But I can tell you I have never been so motivated to go out and cross off all the things that I have since added to my Bucket List, starting with experiencing immersive art exhibits.
With only a couple more weeks to write this column, I have a lot on my mind. There are so many topics that I wanted to talk about, but I simply no longer have the time to write them now that graduation is right around the corner.
On April 8, Robert Maffia, Vice President for Facilities and Campus Operations, sent an email to the Stevens community that beginning on October 1, 2021, Stevens “will source 100% of its electricity directly from a local renewable energy source.”
