It’s been a while since my last column, but I couldn’t close out the semester without one last article on what styles I’m loving right now…because I’m loving quite a bit!
Let’s face it: neutral color outfits are boring. All they do is scream that you (and your outfit) blends into the norm.
Well, it’s October again. Do you know what that means? Pumpkins, Halloween, pumpkins, falling leaves, and pumpkins! But more importantly layers.
Everyone has their own guilty pleasure t-shirt. Whether it’s a band tee from middle school or a Zelda shirt you just bought last week, we all love the graphic tee because it lets us show off our interests (and as I always say style is a reflection of you!).
For many Stevens students, this will be the first presidential election they are eligible to vote in, so it is no wonder it has been such a hot topic.
The fashion industry is changing, and New York Fashion Week is changing with it. Runways used to be invitation-only events where designers would present their ideas for the next season to the press, magazine editors, retail buyers and Hollywood socialites for review, sales and promotions.
Classes have started and I’ve never had less motivation to put time into my outfits. Between the heat and the homework, college students just want to be comfy.
Ahh, syllabus week: the purgatory between summer ending and classes beginning where we cling to the last of our freedom before the new year.
While I love a little sand, surf, and sun, the summer heat usually has me thinking less about style and more about comfort.
