The death of the co-op program

Please let me preface this with a sincere apology to the newly formed Stevens Career Center. I am just really shaken up and frustrated with the current standing of the former Office of Cooperative Education, which was my primary reason for staying at Stevens.

Places To Be: A List of Experiences

New York City has been dubbed as the greatest city in the world. There are so many restaurants, attractions, and events there that you can’t call NYC a boring city.

A blank slate: take two

“This is it.” That phrase has two entirely different meanings for you and me. You are entering Stevens Institute of Technology for you first college year, and I’m leaving it for my last.

Words from a former freshman: do it all

College is a time of exploration—it’s time to figure out what you really want in life. You need to open your mind to new experiences!

Mind of a freshman

At one time or another, we were all seniors in high school.  Whether it was last year or several years ago, we all remember the pressures of SAT and ACT tests, applying to college, having the “perfect” resume, and surviving daunting college interviews.

So it begins again

Oh boy, here we go again. A new batch of freshmen brimming with optimism and joy. *Sigh*

I’ll spare you the doom and gloom until next time for now.

Proceed at your own risk

The internet is becoming a scary place for personal data. In 2014 alone, there were an estimated 80,000 cyber security breaches in the US affecting tens of millions of people.

This is it.

Class of 2015, this is it. Here we are at Commencement creating an ocean of emotions. The waves bellow throughout the crowd; crests of happiness at the top and troughs of sadness at the bottom.

Those you’ve loved

By the time this will be read, the Class of 2015 will either be in their seats, minutes away from graduating, or official alumni of Stevens Institute of Technology, hanging out on the campus lawns at GradFest 2015.
