Growing up, I was petrified of dogs. They were loud and scary, with teeth that were way too sharp. If one got even an inch too close to me, I would run to my dad and climb up his shoulders to hide from them.

Like many people on September 17, I sat down to watch the series finale of Amazon’s The Summer I Turned Pretty.
I am a middle child. I have an older sister named Maggie and a younger brother named Holden. My siblings mean the whole world to me and I could never express just how much they mean to me.
From conversations with my family, teachers, and others I talked to about my future plans, one piece of advice was consistent.
When you graduate high school, you are told different variations of you’ll feel it once you’re in college, that’s when it will all set in.
This year has been full of everything I didn’t expect. There have been friendships, opportunities, and bonds that I never thought would happen to me during my first year of college.
All Stevens students have seen the infamous runners by the Hudson River on a daily basis. Hoboken is known to have a large number of younger residents, many of whom find themselves on weekly jogs or runs along the water.
Ok so the semester is almost over, which means the year is almost over. I have successfully made it through all the stuff I was supposed to, and now there’s more stuff, but then it will actually be over, so it’s fine.
Just yesterday was the final show of Into the Woods and it completely blew my mind. I have not seen a musical since middle school— this was really something special.
As a music and technology major, when I applied to Snevets, I submitted a musical portfolio. Submitting mine resulted in more opportunities for scholarships, and as a 19-year-old arts major, I love free money!
