On April 21, Marybeth Murphy, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, announced that Stevens had made the decision to postpone an in-person graduation until October 2020.
After half a semester of virtual learning last spring, Stevens opened campus this fall to a select number of students. At least one in-person class has been offered to freshmen and transfers, while all returning students are taking every class online.

On Friday, May 1, Stevens hosted the annual Innovation Exposition to showcase this year’s Senior Design projects. While this event is usually characterized by seniors placing rows of display tables throughout campus with large crowds browsing their work, this year’s expo was different because of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis: it took place entirely online.
