To think that my freshman year of college is essentially over is mind blowing. It feels as if it were yesterday that I was dropped off for orientation, both excited and a bit nervous for what was to come.

As just about everyone may know, last weekend Stevens had hosted their 9th Annual Castle Point Anime Convention, or CPAC for short.
As everyone reading may or may not know, last week was Accepted Students Weekend for Stevens Class of 2020. Unfortunately for me, I was unable to go to my own Accepted Students Day last year, so it was great to see the festivities that I had missed the year before.
A weekend getaway, in my opinion, is definitely food for the soul. After a long week of midterms and the stresses of nearing the end of the semester, I felt a weekend to myself was in order.
It’s hard to believe that there is only one month of classes left in my freshman year of college. It feels just like yesterday that I was moving into my dorm to start this new journey, feeling a sense of excitement and slight nervousness in thinking of what was to come.
Writing this article, I am sitting on my bed at home typing away at my computer. It is currently 12:34am, and it has been a great few days of relaxing after a long week of midterms.
This past Saturday holds a special place in my heart. Not only because it was my first Hoboken St. Patrick’s Day experience, but also because I was given a great opportunity that would have been foolish to pass up.
This past week has definitely been a busy one. To start, I decided to take bio as my first science elective, and I can now say that I made the right choice.
Sitting on the second floor of the library, I sometimes find myself distracted by the goings-on around me. From people talking to each other to others walking by, for some reason I find it hard to focus.
A few days ago, I walked into the library after my classes were over for the day to start my homework.
