On Wednesday, March 1 at 9:00 PM, the Women’s Program held a DIY planters workshop in Jacobus lounge. During the event, guests were able to pick up little clay flower pots and decorate them with a variety of paints and ribbons, as well as fill them with dirt so they can plant their own seeds within them later.

Last Wednesday, January 25th at 9PM, the Korean Student Association held a celebration in honor of Korean Lunar New Year. Upon arriving at the event, guests were asked to take off their shoes, grab a drink, and kneel at a series of knee-high dinner tables equipped with plates, utensils, and small bowls of vegetables and corn.
Torch Alliance hosted their fifth annual Trevor Project fundraising event in Hayden lounge on Wednesday. The event was designed by Torch as a way to draw people together at a friendly event for raising awareness about suicide within the LGBTQ+ community.
On Tuesday, the Latin American Association (LAA) hosted its fourth annual Latin Jazz Night in Jacobus Lounge. Held in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the celebration featured the musical group Grupo Guarachando and traditional Hispanic food such as empanadas and pan de bono.
The College Republicans hosted a viewing of the Presidential Debate with Students Against Violating the Earth (SAVE) last Monday night in Burchard 118.
This past Friday, I had the pleasure to see the Stevens Dramatic Society’s production of “Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind: 30 Plays in 60 Seconds.”

As I enter my final year at Stevens, I can’t help but reflect. Thinking about my beginnings in Humphreys 205, my “big girl apartment” in 800 Madison, and all the accomplishments and life lessons in between, I keep asking myself, “Have I been doing Stevens right?

The Latin American Association hosted its second annual Around the World in 22 Bites event this past Tuesday. Named for the 22 countries of South America, the event showcased the diverse and delicious flavors of Latin America in both its food and dance.
This past Friday and Saturday, StevensTHON held a massive dance marathon in Walker Gym. The dance was the first held by StevensTHON and was a major success, making what Associate Director of Student Life Thea Zunick calls, “a pride point for our institution and a future tradition for our campus.”
