I’ve never been the biggest fan of writing, but as a senior, I wanted to use this space (mostly for some pictures) to thank the people who made my time here and at The Stute so meaningful. To the whole Stute team: whether we only saw each other once a week at Minor Board meetings or you reacted to my Slack messages with the Ice Spice emoji, you made this experience easier, funnier, and more enjoyable. To my Stute friends, both the ones who joined because we were already close and the ones I met through the paper, you’re the reason I stayed. Thank you for the layout sessions, the venting, and all the small moments that made it worth it.
Thank you to the faculty and staff at Stevens who helped me through difficult times, and to my friends from home who listened to me rant on FaceTime while I cleaned my room. To my friends at Stevens, especially the ones I met five years ago under the tent on Palmer Lawn and who have been by my side ever since, thank you for being my constant and for celebrating every big win together. To my family, thank you for always supporting me through everything, whether it was Stute-related or life in general. And finally, a special thank you to my grandma, who encouraged me to get involved with the newspaper in the first place. I ended up spending three years with The Stute: first as layout editor, then two years as Editor-in-Chief. I’m really grateful I did, and I’m leaving with a lot to be proud of thanks to all these people.
