ESC Unity

On Wednesday, April 19 the Ethnic Student Council, in unison with 7 of Stevens’ ethnic clubs — Black Students Union, Chinese Student Association, FAST, Indian Undergraduate Association, Korean Students Association, Latin American Association, and Stevens Irish Association kicked of their annual “Unity” week with their Unity Carnival. There were many games to play and inflatable activities for students to enjoy, as well as carnival foods to sample from each of the individual ethnic clubs. It took place on Palmer Lawn from 1 to 4 PM. This Friday, the second part of the annual event will take place, the Unity Showcase, at Canavan Arena from 7 to 10 PM. The showcase will feature all of the undergraduate ethnic clubs that participated in the carnival — as well as performances from TECHnique, Quackapella, and Stevens’ multicultural Greek clubs. This year’s theme is “Our Greatest Strengths”. For more information about Ethnic Clubs on campus, email the Ethnic Student Council (ESC) at esc@stevens.edu, or any of the other organizations listed to inquire about their meeting times and join.
