SASE runs an amazing race

On Wednesday Oct. 27, the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) hosted The Amazing Race: Professional Edition. In this event, players competed in pairs and followed clues to various locations on campus. At each location, players participate in a professional skill-building events – with a fun twist.

At one event, players had to spin around, and then walk in a straight line and try to give a firm handshake. At another event, the teams had to complete a two minute interview without laughing. Finally, the penultimate event had each team find someone with a Stevens business card in the community. Prizes were awarded to the top 3 placing teams. “It was really fun to make something that had a professional aspect as well as fun,” remarked Cam Nguyen, Public Relations Chair of SASE.

SASE’s next meeting is on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 9:00 pm.
