Hanlon Financial Systems Center

Renovations on the first floor of Babbio Center have installed a second Hanlon Laboratory for Financial Analytics and Data Visualation. Work over 2500 sq ft improved research and conference rooms, as well.

Previously a classroom and meeting room, the location is now similar to Hanlon Lab located on the fourth floor of Babbio, with advanced technical systems integrated throughout the lab.

One of the main goals of the center’s formation was to help expand the opportunity for students studying Quantitative Finance and Financial Engineering at Stevens to use the lab. This new work space is a great opportunity for students and professors alike to gain experience with financial research and modern technologies.

Some of the state-of-the-art features include Bloomberg Terminals and data analysis tools. These terminals include specialized keyboards and software that enables the user to access a large range of data and information, with a greater emphasis as they apply to students studying within the School of Business.
