SITTV’s doorway sign stolen

SITTV’s iconic black doorway sign above the entrance on the side of Humphreys Hall was stolen. According to a report by Tyler Romeo, General Manager of SITTV, it went missing some time over the weekend, between Friday, October 30 and Sunday, November 1. It was likely removed some time on Friday as part of some Halloween mischief.

The sign was nailed into the wooden doorframe, but loosely enough that it could be removed without any special tools or crowbars. The culprit could have removed it by hand.

Romeo said that SITTV currently does not have any known enemies with any motive to sabotage the organization.

The sign would not be too expensive to replace, however construction and installation of a new sign will have to be done through the Stevens Physical Plant, which could bring the total up to a few hundred dollars.

If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of the sign, Romeo encourages people to contact him at tromeo@stevens.edu.
