The first annual Instrument-A-Thon, hosted by the Music and Visual Arts and Technology programs at Stevens, took place on Saturday, Feb.
This past Wednesday, Stevens Pre-Health Medical Honor Society Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) and StevensTHON joined forces to welcome Dr. Aura Shoval, Pediatiatric Physiatrist at the Clifton Children’s Specialized Hospital (CSH).
Even if you are not into fashion, you’ve probably heard the name Virgil Abloh an awful lot lately. After all, he is a creative director for Kanye West, designer of his uber-popular brand Off-White, DJ (performs under the name “Flat-White”), architect (designed furniture and is releasing a collaboration with IKEA later this year), artist (recently took over London’s Gagosian Gallery for a collaborative exhibit with Takashi Murakami featuring prints and sculptures and designed the album art for Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Watch the Throne, and Yeezus and Lil Uzi Vert’s Luv Is Rage 2), and lecturer (so far at Columbia University, Rhode Island School of Design, and Harvard University).
Today, it was brought to my attention that I let classes, and the fact that I’m not doing as well as I feel I should be in them, get to me and bring me down.
On Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, the Center for Innovation in Engineering and Science Education at Stevens (CIESE) hosted Project IMPACT STEM: a collaboration between Stevens Institute of Technology and Lockheed Martin designed to increase involvement in STEM fields among middle schoolers and secondary school guidance counselors.

A common complaint I get is that I’m hugely biased towards Asian/fusion restaurants in my reviews. For the most part, that’s completely true.
It is not even March yet and already there have been 18 school shootings in the U.S. Eighteen!
It’s almost as if this number is screaming at people for something to change, but instead people decided to argue over what characterizes a “school shooting.”
