WCPR Record Collection: The Largest in Jersey?

Castle Point Radio, better known as WCPR, is the official radio station of Stevens Institute of Technology. While it may not broadcast to the general public, this community enables students to create their own space in the music world, providing listeners with a place to listen to niche music or learn obscure facts about the hosts or the artists.

Spotlight on the Vietnamese Student Association

On February 4, the Vietnamese Student Association’s (VSA) GroupMe became visible to Stevens students. It wouldn’t be until April 8 that they held their first event: Ham Choi Game Night!

Ok so the semester is almost over, which means the year is almost over. I have successfully made it through all the stuff I was supposed to, and now there’s more stuff, but then it will actually be over, so it’s fine.

Food is my safe haven. Projects, quizzes, homework, meetings — my life has been stuck in a constant loop lately, and the only things bringing me peace right now are chocolate, ice cream, and solitaire (that one’s not food).

Mathematics in a (more) dangerous time

Following the harrowing attacks by Hamas against Israel on October 7, 2023, as Israel’s violent military response in Gaza began in earnest, I wrote a For Math’s Sake column describing the difficulties of doing math in dangerous times, and also, the further difficulties math can present in these times.
