Women’s Lacrosse’s recent victories in the MAC

Women’s Lacrosse hit their third win in a row in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) on Saturday, April 13, when they defeated Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) Florham, their 10th overall victory of the season thus far. 

Tennis begins the MAC conference

On Saturday, April 6, both Men’s and Women’s Tennis traveled to Dallas, PA. where they took on Misericordia University’s respective teams for the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom Opener.

Women’s Outdoor Track and Field made a notable mark on the meet when graduate student Laura Mathews and first-year Isabella Shanley took the top two spots in the 100-meter dash.

Women’s Lacrosse season begins

Women’s Lacrosse now sits 4-0 in their 2024 season following a 16-15 victory over Rowan University on Saturday, March 2. 

The team began their season on Saturday, February 3, when they completed an exhibition match against Messiah University, followed by a second exhibition match against Muhlenberg College on Sunday, February 18. 

NCAA Women’s Volleyball rule change sparks controversy

Earlier this year, the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Rules Committee met in Indianapolis proposing a new rule change that states players may contact the ball more than once with any part of the body in a single attempt on a team’s second contact when the ball is played to a teammate.
