New fencing coach: welcome Jim Carpenter

Following an astonishing 15 years as head fencing coach, Jim Carpenter retires. Carpenter has been the most successful fencing coach at Stevens to date, with an astonishing record of 280-159 for the men’s team and 51-61 with the women’s.

Men’s Tennis has a fruitful weekend in Virginia

On October 2 and October 3, the Men’s Tennis team attended the ITA Atlantic South Region Championship in Virginia. The Ducks played well against tough opposition and did the Stevens name proud.

Women’s soccer ties against TCNJ

On Wednesday, September 24, the women’s soccer team went up against TCNJ. The match ended in a draw, with each side managing to score one goal before the game came to a close.

Men’s golf takes on The Gauntlet

On September 21 and 22, the men’s golf team played in The Gauntlet, going up against big competitors like York College, Franklin and Marshall College, Gettysburg College, Drew University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and seven others.

Women’s Volleyball shows resilience in home tri-match

On September 13, the women’s volleyball team hosted a tri-match against Tufts and Drew at the Canavan Arena. The Ducks lost to Tufts in a close match but returned to the court, fought valiantly, and comfortably beat Drew 3-0.

Athletic academic recognition

The athletes on the men’s basketball team received the 13th annual Team Academic Excellence Award. This award, created by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), recognizes athletes for their achievement of a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the 2024-25 season.
