During the winter break, the Stevens men’s wrestling team struggled against nationally-ranked teams. However, Stevens proved they are a strong team as they knocked off every team in their conference and took home the Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) title.

On January 22, the Stevens women’s basketball team hosted the DeSales Bulldogs at Canavan Arena. After back-to-back losses in conference play, Stevens looked to bounce back against another conference opponent.
Senior Thomas Poklikuha earned his 100th career victory as he led Stevens wrestling, which is ranked No. 8, to a pair of victories Saturday at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).

In the MAC Freedom championship against Eastern (25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 25-18), senior Shelby Stewart was named the Championship Most Valuable Player after registering 12 kills, 8 total blocks, and 7 service aces — a nice game from Stewart as her fantastic season continues.
The Stevens men’s fencing team opened the 2019-20 season Sunday in the Temple Open.
After two separate pool-play competitions, the fencers were then seeded individually for bracket play based on their performance in the pool play.
For the women in their Temple Open, freshmen Claire McNeill and sophomore Kiera Barnes both finished in the top-10 of their respective weapons to start their season at the Temple Open on Saturday.
Entering Stevens as a freshman, I wanted to play a club sport. Did I have any idea which one? No. However, the club sports nightmare became evident when I decided to join a sport.
