I’m breaking up with the shuttle

Our romance began July 2014. I had just been given my keys to Curling Club 509, and considering I really never walked any further than Garden Street as a freshman, I sought a solution to check out my apartment.

Doing Senior Year “Right”

By: Katie Brown

As I enter my final year at Stevens, I can’t help but reflect. Thinking about my beginnings in Humphreys 205, my “big girl apartment” in 800 Madison, and all the accomplishments and life lessons in between, I keep asking myself, “Have I been doing Stevens right?

The end again: A moment to reflect

This is is gang, we’ve reached the end of the rope.

I’ve made mention in previous editorials that I wrote as Editor in Chief a few years back on what it feels like to be where I am right now.

Stevens should start acting like a team

I want to specify that this column reflects only my own opinion. I cannot, will not, and do not speak on behalf of CPAC as a whole.

I just want to be happy with Stevens

Last week was Accepted Student’s Weekend, because, like CPAC, sometimes you just need an extra day.

Traditionally, I have loved Accepted Students Day.

Where is the respect?

Obligatory XX Days until graduation.
I am an adult.

I am more of an adult than a lot of my peers, for better or worse.

A little quip on mental health

I feel that in today’s culture, talking about mental health is somehow taboo.

In the U.S. specifically, where workers are encouraged to put their home lives aside to work 60+ hours a week, the lack of care to one’s mental state and any problems that come with it does not come to me as a surprise.

Why did Spring Break have to end?

We are in the home stretch. I have roughly 1 month to finish all of my Senior Design projects, and about 2 months to get a job before I graduate formally.

Quit complaining about your professors

I have one final gripe about students before I stop being grumpy about this sort of stuff.

I have been a student since kindergarten, so for about 17 years I’ve spent a good deal of time watching teachers and the students they teach.

Giving up and letting go

You know how when you were little, and you were playing in the playground, and then your mother told you to stop, and you couldn’t help but whine, “Just five more minutes?”
