The Stevens Orchestra Spring 2019 Concert was on Saturday, April 13, in DeBaun Auditorium. For some it was their first spring concert, and for others it was their last.

One could say that Jimmy Sweeney, a super senior, has made the most of his five years at Stevens. He is an RA, SGA Senator and Committee on Academic Rights Committee Chair, and is a part of OXE and Order of Omega, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, President’s Ensemble, and Quackappella.
“Stevens has brought me a lot of really cool opportunities and some of my best friends in the world,” said Abby Hulse, a third-year Chemical Biology major from Manchester, NJ.
Kelly McGowan is a fourth-year Visual Arts and Technology major from Little Falls, NJ. She is the founder of the Stevens Poetry club, and she is also a sister of Sigma Delta Tau.
Giovanni (Gio) Koleshnick is a fourth-year Civil Engineering major from Freehold, NJ. He can be described as a spider, in the sense that he is an adept rock climber.
Grant Simmons is a star on stage, as well as on the slopes. He is an upright bassist in the Stevens Orchestra, is on the Alpine Ski Team, and is a part of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Jie Dai, also known as Jerome, is a fourth year Electrical Engineering student. He is from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, and left his hometown at the age of 18 to come to the United States to attend college at Stevens.

This Saturday, April 21, at 8 p.m. in DeBaun Auditorium is the Stevens Orchestra Spring Concert. It is also a time to reflect on a semester of hard work and music, as well as fond memories and friendship.
“I can’t even imagine my life without music, so I decided that this [music] was something I wanted to dedicate my time to when I’m not studying,” Jen Searing discloses.
