Just two months ago, the Brookings Institution published one of the most comprehensive studies on student debt that has ever been conducted.

Before you even ask, I am not here to talk about the Castle Point Anime Convention. Rather, I am here to share my awesome experience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

I know that this is a sensitive subject and one that I touched upon last semester. However, given the reaction from the White House as well as many members of Congress, it appears as if there may soon be some legislative action on the Second Amendment.

On Monday, President Trump officially announced his proposal to Congress for an infrastructure plan. As a civil engineer, I was thrilled to hear the news, but I was even happier when I learned the details of the plan.

It might seem like a fairly simple question, but over the past few years, conservatism has been completely distorted. Many of those who are uninformed in the age of information, chose to simply accept the facts, usually presented by liberal elites and the media, as they are presented and ask no further questions.

Before watching this speech, I was expecting a State of the Union that pandered to President Trump’s base. I was expecting his usual party line with a few good political points thrown in so it wasn’t a strictly populist message.

This past weekend, the U.S. federal government entered into a shutdown. So what does this even mean? Basically, Congress could not pass a government funding bill through both houses getting the required amount of votes.

This article has been really tough for me to write. Matthew Cunningham (Campus Liberal) and I usually try to write about something that’s related to current events.
