Sometimes I think language really confines us. I could spend hours upon hours perusing the Webster’s Dictionary for a specific word that encapsulates all of what an object or person represents, only to realize that no arrangement of our alphabet can express our thoughts.

I must confess: I bandwagon with Democrats and left-leaning people for nearly everything. I march in all the protests, I tweet the trendy hashtags, and I campaign for the people who advocate for the rights of marginalized groups.

I know that this is a sensitive subject and one that I touched upon last semester. However, given the reaction from the White House as well as many members of Congress, it appears as if there may soon be some legislative action on the Second Amendment.

Black Panther: A Refreshing Superhero Film

Ryan Coogler has done it again, this time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The writer and director of Fruitvale Station (2013) and Creed (2015) took Black Panther, an already interesting character which audiences got a taste of in Captain America: Civil War (2016), and gave us the beauty that was the film of the same name, Black Panther (2018).
