Trump’s Joint Address to Congress

On Tuesday, Feb. 28th, President Donald Trump gave his first address to a joint session of congress. Trump’s speech covered topics including condemning hatred and racism, a military build-up, immigration reform, tax reform, and rebuilding infrastructure.

Women’s Day

International Women’s Day celebrates the progress women have achieved in social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. In celebration of Women’s Day, Stevens is organizing a symposium with Women’s Programs and Amnesty International.

Stevens for Solidarity

Stevens for Solidarity will be held on Walker Lawn on Wednesday, March 22nd from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The goal is to “unify the members of our campus by imploring all to look beyond party lines, see beyond the red and blue, in order to strengthen Stevens’ resolve to stand against discriminatory federal and municipal policies.”

Women’s program hosts planters workshop

On Wednesday, March 1 at 9:00 PM, the Women’s Program held a DIY planters workshop in Jacobus lounge. During the event, guests were able to pick up little clay flower pots and decorate them with a variety of paints and ribbons, as well as fill them with dirt so they can plant their own seeds within them later.
