Stevens College Republicans organized Dinesh D’Souza, a former policy adviser to Ronald Reagan and prominent conservative commentator, to bring his “D’Souza Unchained” lecture series to campus this past Wednesday, April 26.

With social sciences professor Dr. Susan Schept serving as moderator, the College of Arts and Letters hosted a forum focusing on “Islam in America” through a multi-faith lens this past Wednesday.
On Tuesday, April 25 in Babbio Atrium, the Chinese Student Association hosted their annual “International Dumpling Night”, in collaboration with SASE, FAST, KSA, IUA, and Nu Alpha Phi.
The Student Government Association (SGA) formally proposed the “Compensation of Officials of the SGA” Act at its weekly meeting this past Sunday, which would entail the distribution of stipends to each member of the Cabinet, the Speaker, each Standing Committee Chair, and each Senator.
Distinguished guests, alumni, faculty, students and guests were welcomed to celebrate the achievements of 11 esteemed individuals at the fourth annual Stevens Awards Gala at the renowned Plaza Hotel on April 8.
Estimated to be founded in 2002, the purpose of the Stevens Anime Club is to “provide entertainment to the student body as well as the general public in the form of Japanese animation and live movies, as well as trips to Japanese cultural events in the area.”
On Friday, April 7, WCPR- Castle Point Radio hosted a concert featuring Evan from Pinegrove, The Gray Company, and Hexdog in Jacobus Lounge.
On Sunday, April 9, the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, also known as SASE, hosted a volleyball tournament in Schaefer Gym from noon to 5 PM to raise money for Autism Speaks.
On Wednesday, April 19 the Ethnic Student Council, in unison with 7 of Stevens’ ethnic clubs — Black Students Union, Chinese Student Association, FAST, Indian Undergraduate Association, Korean Students Association, Latin American Association, and Stevens Irish Association kicked of their annual “Unity” week with their Unity Carnival.
The Clothesline project was the first annual event by the Take Back the Night Committee and took place on Monday, April 17, on Davis Lawn.
