Since the fall of 2004, Assistant Professor Christopher Search has been working with the Physics department. For five years, Search exclusively taught graduate-level courses until he was offered the opportunity to teach undergraduate-level courses.

On February 14, a completely new set of meal plans was announced to current and future residents of Stevens Housing.
There are four different plans in the new system, down from six, and the plans are named after different denominations of computer storage in a play on words.
Over the past couple of years, Stevens has gone through large shifts in its faculty composition and academic leadership, but those of last year truly highlight these changes and their potential for creating a new academic culture.

At the Schaefer School of Engineering and Science, Ph.D. student Robert Bauer has been conducting research in the applications of micro- and nanotechnologies for the last three years.
On February 14, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Marybeth Murphy announced that Stevens is currently in the process of converting 34 single occupancy restrooms to gender-neutral restrooms, seven of which will require additional work to add locks.
