This past Wednesday, Stevens Pre-Health Medical Honor Society Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) and StevensTHON joined forces to welcome Dr. Aura Shoval, Pediatiatric Physiatrist at the Clifton Children’s Specialized Hospital (CSH).
From the Entertainment Committee that brought you the annual Tree Lighting, now comes TechFest. As described by President of the Entertainment Committee Greg Klesaris, “TechFest will be the biggest event of the semester with Entertainment Committee pulling out all the stops,” with this year’s main attraction being a concert featuring a well-in-tune performer, about whom more details will soon be revealed by the Entertainment Committee.
Stephen Cornwell, a sophomore Chemical Biology student, was elected Chair of the Stevens Honor Board on February 7, succeeding senior Olivia Schreiber who had held the position for the past year.
CSA hosted their annual Chinese New Year celebration on Tuesday, February 13, in Babbio Atrium at 9 PM.
At the event, students could sample different traditional foods including Mushroom E-fu noodles, Shrimp Har Gow, BBQ Pork buns, Turnip cake, Spring rolls, fish fillet with mixed veggies, coconut pudding, drinks such as Calpico, Aloe drinks, and tea.
The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) Stevens chapter, established in 2012, hosted its first Regional Conference on Feb. 10, 2018 at The Westin in Jersey City.
Macbeth will be playing in DeBaun Auditorium this weekend, put on by DeBaun Performing Arts. While not affiliated with Stevens Dramatic Society (SDS), there is a significant amount of overlap in both actors and crew of SDS and DeBaun Performing Arts.
The American Chemical Society (ACS) hosted a Valentine’s Day celebration on Wednesday, February 7 at 5 PM in Hayden Lounge. At the event, the club provided the opportunity for students to make bath bombs, Borax hearts, test tube valentines, and enjoy a wide variety of sugary treats.
On Tuesday, Feb. 6, Sustainability Activism Volunteering and Engineering (SAVE), which is Stevens Environmental Club, hosted its first-ever Recycled Bottle Candle Making event.
