While many scientists keep exploring Earth and its wonders, Matthew Brand aims to shoot for space, more particularly for Mars. A Stevens’ 2021 alumni, Brand was first inspired by the Curiosity car-sized rover launched on Mars a few years back and found his niche later at Stevens as he combined his computer science degree and his interest in space when he joined Professor Paul Grogan’s research team.

On the evening of Saturday, November 12, various members of the Stevens community gathered at the Plaza Hotel in New York City for the 2022 Stevens Awards Gala.

A new Student Government Association (SGA) President and Vice President of Operations (VPO) have been elected. Paulina Georgoutsos, who will be serving as President, and Alex Stanczak, who will be serving as VPO, have stepped up to the podium of facilitating the SGA throughout the next year.
At Stevens, research is a quintessential aspect of the institution. Undergraduates, master’s students, doctoral candidates, and professors have access to laboratories and facilities to research topics across many disciplines.
Last weekend, the Stevens Dramatic Society (SDS) put on their fall production: Play On! by Rick Abbot. There were four performances: one in the evening of Thursday and Friday, Saturday afternoon, and the last Saturday night.
