Seniors get innovative at the Innovation Expo

If you were on campus last Friday, you might have noticed seniors walking around campus, sporting their best professional attire. If you were curious about why these dressed up seniors were walking into Walker, Canavan, and other campus buildings, and if you went to investigate for yourself, you would have seen hundreds of students regaling each other with their scientific discoveries.

It is almost that time of the year, Stevens! Commencement is right around the corner, and this year will mark Stevens Institute of Technology’s 147th Commencement Ceremony.

Seniors process down Wittpenn Walk

On Wednesday, members of the student body, faculty, and staff cheered on the graduating seniors as they processed down from Walker Gym to Babbio Patio, in a tradition the school started last year called “The Wittpenn Walk.”

Finally, in just days, years and years of hard work will soon become immortalized on a piece of paper titled your Undergraduate Diploma.

On the first floor of the Samuel C. Williams Library, sitting on two vintage chairs at the back of the Mary Stuart Stevens Baird room, two staff members looked at each other with excitement as they told stories about Stevens’ history.
