If you’ve stepped outside on campus this week, you’ve probably seen the sprawling graveyards of deceased lanternflies. They lay on their backs faced towards the sky, wings parted and mangled, sometimes the only remnants are a rusty red paste.

You may have noticed that the campus blue light system is no longer in effect. Have no fear! Stevens has partnered with RAVE Safety to implement a mobile replacement to the previous system.
Last week, Stevens Celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of the Intercultural Space. Previously located in the Alexander House, the Intercultural Space has been relocated to the second floor of the University Center Complex (UCC).
The fraternities and sororities of Stevens hold a remarkable role in the development and experience of the students at Stevens. From networking opportunities and giving back to Stevens and Hoboken through numerous volunteer and civil service activities and projects, Greek life here continues to shine amongst fellow organizations around the nation.
The Alexander House on the Stevens campus, which served as the old Student Center as well as a variety of other uses in earlier years, will be renamed Martha Bayard Stevens Hall, President Nariman Farvardin announced.
On Thursday, September 22, The Entertainment Committee (EC) will be hosting their first annual Fall Fling in the Walker Gym, with outdoor seating on Schaefer Lawn from 7 to 10 p.m.
The Stevens chapter of Chi Psi received national recognition when they were awarded the Founders Trophy this summer, which goes to the chapter, otherwise known as Alpha, that most exemplifies “Emerging Excellence.”

On September 12, the Stevens community came together to remember the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
Stevens has declared an ambitious goal to become a national and global technology-centric educational magnet by 2023, according to the Stevens 2032 Strategic Plan released earlier this June.
