I've served on the executive board for The Stute for 3 years and have written 100 pieces for the paper. Currently, I am the Senioritis columnist.
Saturday was Leadership Reconnect and, thankfully, other members of The Stute e-board attended so I didn’t have to suffer through the long day without copious amounts of coffee.
At the beginning of the semester, I met up at Starbucks to grab coffee with one of my friends. We chatted for a bit — talked about our breaks, what’s going on, and general Stevens stuff.
Braving the cold, windy evening on Tuesday, December 10 at 6 p.m., approximately 80 students protested at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Gateway Academic Center as a push for student wellness, administrative transparency, and improving the campus climate at Stevens.
Classes were cancelled after 1 p.m. last Monday. Since I have all of my classes on Monday, two of my classes were cancelled.
Spoken by over 1 billion people in the world, is over 3,000 years old, one of six official languages of the United Nations, and one of the fastest growing languages in terms of number of speakers in the world — All of these fun facts describe the newest language offered within the Foreign Language Program here at Stevens: Chinese.
