This editorial has been on my to-do list since Spring 2013.
It begins with my first term as a Co-op Student when I worked at Parsons Brinckerhoff.
Let me first start off with a disclaimer: I am not omniscient. I am not capable of being everywhere at once all of the time, despite my valiant efforts.
A small change of pace. Rather than talking about topics at Stevens, I will broaden my scope for this editorial.
Let’s talk about the internet.
Hoboken floods. It is simply a fact of life, learned or experienced by living in Hoboken.
In years past, many upperclassmen, especially those off campus, can recall events that crippled the city: Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Irene, the numerous flash thunderstorms that rapidly flood vast regions of Hoboken.
It is the beginning of a new academic year here at Stevens. There are more Freshmen than ever before, classes are already bustling with eager new students, and already, The Office of Residence Life is upsetting the populace.
When you first came to Stevens, undoubtedly to some extent, you looked up to the senior class with wonder and awe.
For about a month now, I have been the Editor in Chief of The Stute, and I am very impressed with the amount of things we have accomplished since then.
Monday April 21:
The official Re-launch of the Green Team
Hosted at 12:00 p.m. in EAS 229A, the Stevens Green Team announced its Official Re-launch, marking the start of Stevens Institute of Technology’s Earth Week with this meeting.
Although last week I showered the school in praise, I also said there were some elements of this school which are less than par, “hitting the hurdle”, one might say.
Wherever there is yin, there is yang. Such is true for Stevens Institute of Technology. This facility, primed for the production of well-rounded young professionals, has a fair share of good and bad.
