This week has been a whirlwind of events. From sorority recruitment and scholarship applications to Honor Board executive board nominations, it has definitely been a busy week.

It has been almost two weeks since the start of the new semester and I have already become busier than I was last semester.
Being able to say that I have officially completed my first semester of college is surreal to me. Even though I knew this would happen, up until these past few weeks I was in disbelief of how far I had come.
I honestly can’t believe that this is the last week of classes for the semester. It feels like yesterday I was moving into my dorm and starting a new chapter here.
As I am sitting here in Babbio writing this week’s column, I realized that it has been exactly three months since I arrived at Stevens for my freshman year.
Coming to this school, I knew that if I wanted to participate in extracurricular activities such as the Honor Board and The Stute, I would have to balance my work and other activities in order to stay afloat.
As a newly elected member of the Honor Board, I have come to learn many of the fine details of the board and how it is run, along with how each meeting is conducted.
Ever since I was a young girl, I have always appreciated the subtle, or sometimes not so subtle, changes between summer and fall.
After being here at Stevens for the past two months, I have come to realize that it is very important to try new things if you want to make the most of your college experience.
I never thought that I would be halfway through the semester already. It feels like just yesterday that I moved into my dorm and experienced freshman orientation.
