About

The Stute is the student-run newspaper of Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ. On September 23, 1904, the first issue of The Stute was published, and has continued ever since. We deliver news to the Stevens and Hoboken community and collaborate with other student organizations to inform readers. Content is published on our website every Friday and printed in a weekly physical issue whenever possible; we limit production to the academic year but have published some special content throughout the summer before. We cover campus and university news, Hoboken and national affairs, Science, arts and culture, sports, and much more. 

The Stute is run by undergraduate students, but all members of the Stevens community are welcome to join and contribute. Our contact email for general inquiries is eboard@thestute.com and editor@thestute.com to contact the Editor-in-Chief. Hoboken businesses as well as Stevens offices/departments/student organizations are welcome to advertise with us in our print issues and website.

Our office is located in Room 216B in the UCC.

We use Slack for all our communication outside of our office. Any member of the Stevens community is welcome to join by going to stute.slack.com.
